Through snow and rain . . . . well you
know the rest. The mail carrier (postal worker) makes sure you get
your mail on time. Sometimes they go out of their way to deliver
special packages to you.. If you have that special relationship with
them, and they go out of their way for you (and all their other people on
their route), a small token of appreciation is always a nice way to put a
smile on their face. The gift does not need to be expensive (you pay
them enough), but just the fact that you bring a gift is sometimes more than
enough to brighten up their day. It is fairly commonplace to give a
gift or money to the mail carrier at the end of the year around the
holidays.

themselves - then they can put it in the waiting room afterwards)

you know their taste)
-
Bottle of wine
-
Cash (although a gift of little
thought, it is always appreciated)
