A Bar Mitzvah is the celebration of a boy turning into
a man in the Jewish faith. Upon turning the age of thirteen, a
Jewish male undergoes a religious ceremony in their temple in which
friends and family attend. It was traditionally a religious day,
without the fuss that is made over it in modern times. Over the last
few decade, a party after the ceremony has become commonplace. The
celebrations could be very small with a little cake and coffee served, to
the extravagant, even costing more than some large weddings. The
traditional gift given was a pen. If there is a reception
afterwards, it is traditional to give money or a treasury bond equal to
the amount of what you think the meal costs. If you would like to
