At one or two years old, a child does not really
appreciate what you are getting for them. A two year old may
understand that they are receiving gifts, but not the whole party
thing. So, any gifts you get do not need impressive, unless you are
trying to impress the parents and other people at the party. At one
and two, the young child is expanding their minds and trying to figure out
the world around them. You should try to get gifts that provide some
type of educational stimulus. Also always make sure that the toys
